Wayne Androliakos
Wayne Androliakos started on June 1 as CEO of Amsterdam-based Hotel Co. 51, which was founded in 2020 and now has 40 hotels in nine European countries. He started at the firm in 2022 as its United Kingdom regional director of operations, and before that he had roles at hotel firms Generator/Freehand and Cycas Hospitality.
Tobias Linder
Tobias Linder has moved from being CEO at Hotel Co. 51 upon the appointment of Wayne Androliakos to the role of head of asset management at parent company Vastint Holding.
Rami Massoud
Rami Massoud has been appointed vice president of development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at at Thai hotel firm Dusit International. Based in Dubai, Massoud has spent the last five years in hotel consultancy but has had stints as CEO of Ras al Khaimah-based ASQ Holding LLC and as head of asset management, hotels and resorts, at Qatari firm UCC Holding.
Daniella Foster
Daniella Foster has been named as the chair of the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance. Foster is an executive board member and global senior vice president of public affairs, market access and sustainability, at pharmaceutical firm Bayer’s consumer health division. At World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, she has replaced Wolfgang M. Neumann, the former CEO and president of Radisson Hospitality AB.
Stuart Procter
Stuart Procter has arrived as the new CEO at hotel The Beaumont, which is in the process of adding 29 rooms for a total count of 130. He moves from being chief operating officer at the Stafford Collection. Previously he was managing director of GG Hospitality, a company he co-founded with Manchester United soccer legends Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville.
Lokesh Kumar
Lokesh Kumar has been appointed vice president of development, Middle East, at Thai firm Minor Hotels. He remains in Dubai where for the last five years he has worked for business consultancy Insignia Worldwide. He moved from his native India almost a decade ago, where he had been vice president of development and marketing at brand Mövenpick.
Stephanie Clarke and Sophie Rough
Stephanie Clarke and Sophie Rough have joined the 146-room Chancery Rosewood, London, due to open in 2025. Clarke, who previously worked for The Carlton Tower Jumeirah, has been named the Chancery Rosewood's director of sales and marketing. Rough, newly named director of talent and culture at Chancery Rosewood, arrives from Soho House & Company where she was head of people.
Mickael Meunier and Véronique Baudet
Mickael Meunier has been appointed as general manager at the 123-room Le Grand Hotel Cayré, which is opening on July 1 in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district of Paris. Véronique Baudet has been named and accommodation director at the hotel.
The hotel is the debut property from new hotel firm Miiro, but Baudet has worked at the hotel for 25 years. The property is being rebranded from being known simply as Hotel Cayré. Meunier joins from being general manager at Paris’ Les Bains hotel, and he has experience at such prestigious hotels as the Hôtel de Crillon, a Rosewood Hotel, and Le Bristol in the French capital.
Iñigo Sánchez-Crespo
Iñigo Sánchez-Crespo has joined the 130-room UMusic Hotel Madrid as its general manager. Previously, he was general manager at the Hotel Montera Madrid, Curio Collection by Hilton.
Philipp Knuepfer
Philipp Knuepfer has been named as chief operating officer at Dubai-based operator Sunset Hospitality Group. He arrives from the role of area vice president and general manager for Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam and The Philippines at Mandarin Oriental, where he spent almost 22 years.
