Tishman Buys Blackstone's Chicago Portfolio for $1.8B

Assets Include 6.6 Million SF of Class A Office Space in CBD

An affiliate of The Blackstone Group recently sold seven properties in downtown Chicago it originally picked up when its acquired Equity Office Properties in February. Tishman Speyer acquired the 6.6 million-square-foot portfolio of Class A office assets for $1.8 billion, or an average of approximately $272 per square foot.
