Embarq has agreed to remain in its 59,551-square-foot space at 151 Southhall Lane in Maitland, FL. Shipley Hall, brokerage associate at CB Richard Ellis, represented the landlord, Stiles Capital Partners, in the transaction. Jeff Johnson with Jones Lang LaSalle handled negotiations for Embarq. Before the Sprint-Nextel merger, Embarq was part of Sprint. The communications services company handles customers in Central Florida and is predicted to rank among the Fortune 500. The 137,000-square-foot, Class A office building, known as Southpointe Executive Center, changed ownership in June when Younan Properties sold it to Stiles for $24 million. I'm very pleased that both parties came to a mutually beneficial agreement with Embarq and look forward to continuing our long-term relationship with the largest tenant at Southpointe Executive Center," said Hall.
