LAKEWOOD, Ohio—In as dynamic of an industry as hotels, it’s hard to predict what will happen next month, let alone a year from now. But given Hotel News Now has challenged industry experts with the daunting question of what the hotel industry will look like in 2025, we decided it’d be only fair if we tried to field that same question ourselves.
Below, you will see what we believe to be our best—hopefully educated—guesses at what the future holds for the hotel industry in five years’ time.
As an added bonus, we gave two former HNN staffers a chance to come back to see how they did with their predictions when we last did this exercise in 2015—guessing what the hotel industry would look like in 2020. The results were varied.
