Hedge Fund Company Grabs Unilever Space

AQR Capital Management Takes 64,937 SF at 33 Benedict Place

AQR Capital Management LLC signed a long-term lease for 64,937 square feet at 33 Benedict Place in Greenwich CT. Unilever HPC USA currently occupies the entire building and plans to move its headquarters to Englewood Cliffs, NJ, in spring of next year. AQR will then acquire the top two floors of the Class A building. The company will maintain its headquarters at 2 Greenwich Plaza, where it occupies roughly 22,000 square feet on the third floor. Located in the heart of Greenwich’s central business district, 33 Benedict Place measures 126,810 square feet and offers views of the Long Island Sound and downtown Greenwich. The Willett Cos. and Hines Interests LP own the Class A property jointly.
