The pandemic hit downtown Dallas hard and restaurants in the neighborhood even harder, as office employees stayed at home and visitors put off travel. In the case of one Dallas property, the departure of eateries has left enough second-generation space to house more than a handful of new restaurants — just in time for what the landlord expects to be an uptick in demand.
