In one of the biggest office leases expected to be signed in the region, and a blow to downtown Birmingham, Southern Natural Gas Co. agreed to lease approximately 94,000 square feet in a new suburban office building being developed by Colonial Properties Trust (NYSE:CLP) and expected to be completed in July 2007. The lease brings the under construction office building to fully leased.
