Coast Guard's Capitol HQ Sells for $169M

Monday Properties, Apollo Strike Deal With Kuwaiti Investor to Acquire Transpoint Bldg.

A joint venture between Monday Properties and Apollo Real Estate Advisors LP purchased the United States Coast Guard headquarters, known as the Transpoint Building, at 2100 2nd St. in Washington, DC. Global Securities House, a Kuwait-based real estate advisory firm, sold the property for $169 million, or approximately $196 per square foot.
