Buyer Pays a 'Fortune' for Miami Strip Office Tower

Another High-Rise Building Sells on Brickell Avenue for $62.4 Million

South Florida-based Fortune International Realty acquired the 19-story, 235,532-square-foot office tower on 2.06 acres at 1200 Brickell Ave. in Miami from Birmingham, AL-based Colonial Properties Trust (NYSE: CLP). Miami-Dade County public records report that it paid $62.4 million, or about $265 per square foot.
