Private investment firm Boardwalk Investments Group secured a $110 million loan to buy or refinance a 12-property retail portfolio of mostly smaller shopping centers in the posh Orange County beach cities of Laguna Beach and Newport Beach, California, where ritzy high-end coastal recent properties have become popular among investors in recent months.
