CoStar News caught up with Savills's group chief executive for the UK and EMEA James Sparrow as part of more than 20 interviews with key industry figures at the Mipim conference in Cannes in March.
Sparrow reflected on the strategic decisions the group had taken that had allowed it to expand and invest during the pandemic the week after it reported record annual results. He also talked about the likely impact of Russia's war in Ukraine on real estate as well as the potential challenges caused by rising inflation and interest rates.
