Whitehall Lands $1.2B, 130-Hotel Acquisition

Tharaldson Family Sells Nationwide Portfolio of Hotels to Goldman Sachs Investment Arm

In another deal exhibiting the strength of the U.S. hospitality real estate market, Whitehall Real Estate Funds closed on the acquisition of 130 hotels. The price tag, a whopping $1.2 billion, averages out to just over $9 million per property.
