Accor Sells Six Sofitel Hotels for $370M

Under "Management Back" Sale Structure Accor will Continue to Manage Hotels

In a twist to the popular sale-leaseback structure, Accor North America, a division of Paris-based Accor SA, struck a "sale/management-back" deal to sell six Sofitel hotels in six different markets for $370 million to a joint venture led by GEM Realty Capital and Whitehall Street Global Real Estate, LP, one of the many real estate investment vehicles affiliated with Goldman Sachs.
