Northwestern Mutual Life Buys VA Portfolio for $135M

Investors Sell 3 Office Buildings at Park Center in Alexandria as Part of 1031 Exchange

Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. purchased Park Center in Alexandria, VA for $135 million, or $235 a square foot. Park Center, a three-building, 560,979-square-foot office portfolio, consists of 4300 King St., 4401 Ford Ave. and 4501 Ford Ave. The portfolio was purchased as part of a 1031 exchange for the sellers at a 6.4% cap rate.
