Jamison Properties Buys Executive Complex for $50.4M

Los Angeles REIT Makes First Acquisition in San Diego

Jamison Properties, Inc., a Los Angeles-based real estate investment and management company, recently made its first purchase in San Diego by acquiring the 324,341-square-foot Executive Complex office building at 1010 2nd Avenue from Jupiter Realty Corp. of Chicago for $50.4 million, or $155 per square foot. Built in 1963, the building was once the tallest in downtown San Diego, but now ranks among the top five. The property was 95% leased at the time of sale. Major tenants include: Jack Phillips; Neil Dymott, Brown, Frank & Harrison; the City of San Diego; and Frank & Harrison.
