Salt Lake City Industrial Rent Growth Outperforms but at a Slower Pace

Elevated Vacancy and Weak Absorption Have Weighed Down Industrial Rent Increases

Despite enormous supply pressure and rising vacancy, industrial rents in Salt Lake City grew by an average of 10.8% annually at the end of November. The Utah capital’s performance was one of the best in the nation as only Orlando, Florida; Phoenix; Charlotte, North Carolina and Fort Lauderdale, Florida registered stronger annual gains.
