Imagine you’re in a restaurant. You’ve finally managed to book a table at this extremely popular restaurant. One of those impossible to get a table at, booked up in minutes, places. You ask for a menu and they ignore you. Once you manage to get someone's attention, your order takes forever. No one has explained what you’re eating – even though the scallops and samphire is farmed sustainably less than an hour down the road, and the microgreens grown on site. You ultimately decide to put up with the below par customer service because, after all, you are absolutely famished. Looking at our latest mystery shops, this is precisely what’s happened to the BTR market.
