Ryden is adding 15 LSH professionals to its Scottish offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

The appointments follow the transfer of Ryden’s English offices to Lambert Smith Hampton, part of a wider investment by the LSH group of companies earlier this year. The combined Scottish business will trade as Ryden and remains an independent limited liability partnerships.

The focus of the 130-strong firm will be the Scottish market with links throughout the UK, Ryden said. UK-wide mandates will be delivered as part of the LSH group.

Ryden said both companies have set ambitious growth targets based on future collaborative working, further investment and innovation.

Alan Gilkison, Ryden managing partner, said in a statement: “Ryden continues to operate as an independent firm headquartered in Edinburgh. "By incorporating LSH Scotland I believe we have the strongest management, valuation and building consultancy offering in Scotland. This, combined with our existing market-leading agency and investment teams, puts us in a fantastic position to accelerate growth.”

Neil McVicar, head of LSH Scotland, added: “We are really looking forward to working with our new Ryden colleagues. There are over 15 professionals joining from LSH Scotland who each bring considerable experience in their own field.

"Our strengths lie in property ,anagement, building consultancy, lease advisory and valuation which complement Ryden’s existing expertise and strong transactional teams to provide clients with a complete service. There are exciting opportunities to explore for the combined businesses in Scotland.”
