Utah Continues to See Some of the Strongest Job Gains in Nation

The Salt Lake City market and the state of Utah continue to see robust job gains. Both have posted some of the strongest job growth in the nation this cycle, with Utah one of only five states that saw an increase in nonfarm payroll employment in July, based on preliminary numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Additionally, the state had the largest gains by percentage, rising from the previous month by 0.7%. Year-over-year numbers gains for the state were also some the largest in the nation at 3.1%.
