Milwaukee’s total nonfarm employment rose to 870,000 in June 2023, an unadjusted monthly gain of 15,100 jobs, according to the latest preliminary data released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. This represents the largest monthly increase in employment since June 2020.
