Douglas Development Sells 6 in Downtown Portfolio

Toronto-Based REIT Buys 900,000 SF in DC and MD

Brascan Real Estate Opportunity Fund, a Toronto-based REIT focused on investing in real estate properties in North America, signed a binding agreement with Douglas Development Corp. to acquire a six-building, 900,000-square-foot property portfolio in suburban and downtown Washington, DC. The properties are scheduled to settle in April for an undisclosed price.
