Duke Realty Corp. purchased approximately 29 acres in West Tampa, with plans to develop Eagle Creek Business Center. The distribution center space is located on Florida Mining Boulevard, north of Waters Boulevard and one-quarter mile east of Veterans Expressway. With its new acquisition, Duke Realty will develop three buildings that will total 256,832 square feet. "Eagle Creek Business Center is near Tampa International Airport and is an excellent compliment to our existing Fairfield Distribution Center," said Doug Irmscher, senior vice president of Duke Realty's Florida operations. The first building is scheduled to break ground in September of this year with a delivery date of February of next year.
