Michael Syag, the founder and president of sports apparel retailer The Sports Zone Inc., purchased a Manekin LLC-developed building at 5851 Ammendale Road in Beltsville, MD, for $3.5 million, or approximately $89 per square foot. Syag will lease the building to The Sports Zone, which will be relocating its headquarters from 1370 Piccard Drive in Rockville, MD.
