Instinet Expands in Jersey City

Firm Secures 25,000 SF

Instinet Inc. has signed a sublease to expand at 111 Pavonia Ave. located on the Hudson Waterfront in Jersey City. The securities firm currently occupies 3,000 square feet on the 5th floor and inked a deal to occupy an additional 25,000 square feet on the same floor. The tenant was represented on a co-broker basis by Gary Greenspan of Cushman & Wakefield, as well as by representatives from Insignia/ESG and Tishman Speyer. Peter Sabesan, Richard Selig and Greg Kraut from the Hunter Realty Group represented the sublandlord, Lykes. Instinet, a division of Reuters, is a member of 17 exchanges around the world and focuses on applying advanced technology to agency trading. The tenant will occupy the space through 2006.
