Industrial leasing activity is back on track in the Fort Myers market, recording just under 1.4 million square feet over the first half of the year. Leasing in the first six months of this year represents a sizable uptick compared to the final six months of 2023, when the market posted less than 950,000 square feet in leasing activity. The first quarter was one of just a handful of times over the past decade when the market surpassed 800,000 square feet in quarterly leasing activity.
