The coffee manufacturer Cadeco Industries purchased a building it had been leasing for $3.2 million, about $19 per square foot, from Midway Cos. It had been occupying the 170,000-square-foot industrial building at 5518 Clinton Drive in Houston since the late 1990s. The 35-year-old building sits on eight acres. It is rail served and is used as a processing site for imported coffee beans, which are then distributed to major coffee companies like Maxwell House.
