Communications Firm Leases at China Basin Landing

The internet-based communications company Qwest Communications leased 11,666 square feet on the ground floor of the Berry Street building at China Basin Landing. The firm has signed a long-term lease and will move into the space late this summer. Qwest offers a high-speed product allowing easier communication through voice, data, etc. to handle the needs of business communication. Kurt Houtkooper of Grubb & Ellis in San Francisco and Dan Bennet of Grubb & Ellis in Denver represented the tenant. Jay Edwards of McCarthy Cook & Co. LLC represented the landlord, CRE CBL LLC.
