Alstom Transportation, a French multinational rail transport manufacturing firm that produces high-speed trains, subway cars, monorails and trams, acquired a 20.76-acre site at 1601 Ogletown Rd in Newark, Delaware, where it plans to establish a service and maintenance facility for Amtrak’s NextGen Acela high-speed passenger trains.
