Barnsdales, the national property consultancy and chartered surveyors, has hired seasoned financial professional Ian Dickinson as its finance and operations director.
Dickinson, who has more than 16 years of experience managing finance in the property sector, will oversee budgets and forecast essential financial trends for the growing business, which recently opened its first London office in Covent Garden.
The former managing and finance director of Clowes Developments has held a number of senior roles in industry, according to Barnsdales, having originally trained with Ernst & Young. He also has a degree in accounting, financial management and economics from the University of Sheffield.
Dickinson's appointment comes shortly after the group hired former Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors president, Professor Graham Chase, as its head of valuations. The firm has offices in Doncaster, Sheffield, Bristol, Cirencester, Manchester, Nottingham, Lincoln, and London.
