As many as 60% of the restaurants in San Francisco are losing money keeping their doors open for to-go service throughout the city's shelter-in-place order, according a recent survey. It's a trend that's forcing even accredited tenants such as Specialty's Cafe & Bakery to decide to close their doors for good and spurring retail brokers to grapple with how to deal with growing vacancies.
