Pivotal Manufacturing Partners, a New York real estate investment firm focused on acquiring advanced manufacturing facilities to support the reshoring of manufacturing in the U.S., and Declaration Partners, a private investment firm anchored by the family office of private equity investor and philanthropist David M. Rubenstein, completed their $74 million acquisition of Commonwealth Fusion Systems global headquarters building and main manufacturing facility at the company’s Boston-area campus in Devens, Massachusetts. Goldman Sachs provided financing for the transaction.
