Pacific Urban Residential paid the third-highest amount for a multifamily property in the San Diego area for the past year when it acquired a 405-unit apartment complex in suburban La Mesa, California, for $99.4 million last month, capping off a year in which two-thirds of the region’s 20 biggest apartment deals took place outside of the city of San Diego, according to CoStar data.
