Hackman Capital Partners and Square Mile Capital, an investment group that entered New York’s film and TV production market just last year with the purchase of Silvercup Studios in Long Island City and the Bronx, is back for a sequel. Their latest bragging right: the century-old Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens, behind works including Netflix’s hit series “Orange is the New Black.”
