Real estate agency JLL has appointed Joe Bostock to join its North West industrial and logistics team in Manchester, taking the team to five.

Bostock joins JLL from Manchester-based commercial property consultancy WT Gunson, where he specialised in the disposal of freeholds and leaseholds as well as rent reviews, lease renewals, and valuation work.

At JLL, he will help to expand and service the team's instruction base, working closely with developers, property companies, corporate and institutional clients on lettings, freehold sales and acquisitions.

Richard Johnson, lead director of the team, said: "Joe's experience and expertise make him an excellent addition to the JLL North West industrial and logistics team. With his appointment, we aim to further increase our market presence and continue to deliver a top-quality service to our clients."

Also this month JLL's asset management business hired a new life sciences head, Suketu Shah, who joins from life sciences workspace developer Pioneer Group.
