Andover Square Sells to San Francisco Investor

The 80-unit apartment complex at 4343 N. 21st Place in Phoenix sold to an investor from San Francisco, Joseph Amirkhas. Known as Andover Square, the complex was built in 1999 and sold for $9.9 million, or $123,750 per unit. According to David Fogler of Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial in Phoenix, the price per unit was the second highest ever paid for a multifamily investment in the Phoenix market. Fogler, along with Steve Nicoluzakis, also with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial, represented the seller in the transaction, which had a cap rate of 6.75 percent. Jay Rahimi of First USA Realty in Tempe represented the buyer.
