Thor & Simmons Partner for Mall Purchase

South DeKalb Mall Sold for $26.7 Million

New York-based Thor Equities purchased South Dekalb Mall for $26.7 million, nearly $39 per square foot, from O'Leary Partners. According to a Thor spokesman, Russell Simmons is a partner in this deal. Simmons, who is the founder of Def Jam Records and Phat Farm, had primarily a financial role in the transaction.
