Max Capital Lands AP Headquarters

News Service to Consolidate New York Offices in former DoubleClick Space at 450 West 33rd St.

The Associated Press said it will leave its longtime headquarters at '50 Rock' in Rockefeller Center and move to 450 West 33rd Street, a 16-story, 670,000-square-foot office building on the city’s West Side overlooking the Hudson River. The news agency signed a 15-year lease for 290,773 square feet in the building owned by Max Capital Management Co. The move will consolidate AP’s news and management services that are now spread among four locations in Manhattan.
