Standard Insurance Co. leased 60,000 square feet of warehouse space at 3939 SE 26th Ave. in Portland. The company is scheduled to move into the building in July and will utilize the property for records storage and a print shop. The location near its downtown office made the site ideal for Standard Insurance. The tenant will occupy almost the entire 65,922-square-foot building, with the owner, Fred Meyer Stores, occupying the remainder. The property features 22-foot clear heights, fenced yard, and dock-high loading doors. Scott MacLean, Chris Johnson, and Jeff Borlaug of Norris, Beggs & Simpson represented the landlord, Fred Meyer. Carl Deters of National Properties, a division of National Mortgage Co., represented Standard Insurance.
