Much has been said about how badly the hospitality and the overall retail sectors are doing these days. By contrast, the “winning” segments amid the Covid-19 crisis are: supermarkets, with a high level of resilience and defensive qualities in the uncertain times; logistics, on the back of a greater rise in online shopping; and niche areas like data centres or cold storage, due to a pick-up in demand.
