In another move to augment its mounting Southern California brokerage presence, Insignia/ESG hired senior managing directors Craig Meyer and Steve Solomon to expand its influence in the South Bay and lower Westside submarkets, which stretches southward from Santa Monica to Long Beach. Meyer and Solomon, who operate as a team, are two of the most accomplished office brokers in the region and join Insignia/ESG from Colliers-Seeley, where they were both consecutively honored as top-producing agents for the company. Meyer began his commercial real estate career as an industrial specialist in the Los Angeles Airport area in 1976. He received the prestigious SIOR award multiple times for the largest office building transaction of the year by an SIOR broker in Southern California and in 2000 he received the SIOR national award for largest office building transaction by a SIOR in the country. Solomon has completed more than $1 billion in transaction volume over his 14-year career and has been consistently recognized as one of the top producers for Colliers Seeley. He has been ranked in the top 10 of the company for past seven consecutive years and in 2000 he was the Top Producing Agent Company-wide.
