Computer History Museum Acquires 1401 Shoreline Blvd. In Mountain View

The Computer History Museum acquired 1401 Shoreline Blvd. in Mountain View, CA, for an undisclosed price. The property will be the permanent home of the Computer History Museum and will house the world's largest collection of computer-related artifacts. The public opening of its initial phase, or "Beta Museum," will be next spring. The two-story office building was constructed in 1994 and totals 119,281 square feet on 7.5 acres. Michael Brand and Corey Brand of Cornish & Carey Commercial-ONCOR in Santa Clara represented the buyer. Craig Fordyce, David Sandlin and Susan Gregory of Colliers International in San Jose represented the seller, Carlyle Shoreline Trust.
