Kemper Tees Off a $18.5 Million Sale

Kemper Insurance Co. Sells Golf Course

Kemper Lakes Golf Course in Long Grove, IL, sold for $18.5 million. One of only three daily fee golf courses to host a major championship, the prestigious 18-hole golf course was acquired by Chicago-area private investors, Kemper Lakes LLC. The seller, Kemper Insurance Companies, owned the 23-year-old golf course since 1979. Included in the sale was a 30,000-square-foot clubhouse as well as a pro shop. Jeff Davis and Chris Charnas of Cushman & Wakefield managed the marketing process and sales negotiations of the golf course for Kemper Insurance.
