Private equity investment firm Solera Capital LLC relocated and expanded its headquarters, moving from 590 Madison Ave. to 625 Madison Ave. where the company signed a 10-year lease to occupy 9,700 square feet on the third floor. Formerly the Plaza Building, 625 Madison Avenue was built in 1930 by Sloan & Robertson and enlarged from 12 to 17 stories in 1956 by Sylvan Bien and reclad in 1987 by Der Scutt, the architect of Trump Tower. The building, also known as the Revlon Building, houses Revlon, development firm The Related Cos. and Stuart Weitzman Shoes. Jonathan Serko, Mitchell Barnett, Barry Zeller and David Malawer represented the landlord, 625 Madison Ave Associates, while Alan Grossman of The Georgetown Co. negotiated the deal on behalf of the tenant.
