Sugarland Farms LLC purchased a food processing plant from Holly Sugar Corp. The property is located at 40600 County Road 18C in Woodland, CA, and is situated on 246.24 acres. The facility opened operations in the 1930's and was originally the site of the Spreckels sugar beet processing plant. The property consists of 12 buildings totaling 200, 249 square feet and features six silos, rail service, 24'-36' ceiling clearance height, heavy power, 12 loading docks, a mobile crane, and five liquid storage tanks. The buyers plan to lease out the excess land and silos at the site to local growers. Mark Demetre, Bill Niethammer, Dave Leatherby and Matt Lofrano with Colliers International Central Valley Industrial Group represented the seller.
