Picoliter Subleases 19,200 SF In Sunnyvale

Picoliter Inc. expanded its operations by subleasing 19,200 square feet of flex space at 1190-92 Borregas Ave. in Sunnyvale, CA. The company relocated from 231 S. Whisman Road in Mountain View, CA. Terms of the deal were not disclosed but the flex space was marketed at $21 per square foot, annually, triple net. The single-story, 32,800-square-foot flex building was constructed in 1978 and features dock-high and grade-level loading, 18-foot clear height, heavy power and 480 volts. Picoliter is a privately held, development stage company that has developed technology for moving and analyzing small amounts of liquid using ultrasound energy. Sam Burnett of Colliers International in San Jose represented the sublessee. Mike Connor of BT Commercial Real Estate - NAI in Palo Alto represented the sublessor, Cepheid.
