Kansas City, KS, was the site of the latest acquisition for Omega Door Co., a garage roll-up door manufacturer headquartered out of Youngstown, OH. Its expansion to the facility at 924 Division St. in Wyandotte County is located near the intersection of Southwest Boulevard and I-35, a major artery within 30 minutes of KC metro stops. The industrial facility, built in 1985, was purchased for $600,000. With 20,000 square feet of warehouse space and 6,000 square feet of office/showroom space (5,000 square feet of which is covered dock space), the building was an ideal choice for a major manufacturing company such as Omega Door. Behind the property is approximately 1,000 square feet of land, which abuts a rail line. Ira East of Ira F. East Realty represented the seller. Lou Serrone of Serrone & Co. represented Omega Door.
