Storage Pro of Oakland purchased 8855 San Leandro St. in Oakland in a 1031 tax-deferred exchange. Total consideration for the deal was approximately $2.18 million. The property contains three industrial buildings totaling 31,040 square feet on a 2.94-acre parcel. Storage Pro intends to demolish the existing buildings and construct a new 700-unit, 80,000-square-foot self-storage facility. Storage Pro was represented in-house.
