Vacant MCI Building Sold to Investor

$6.3 Million Sale Takes Place in Pinellas Park

Pinellas Plaza LLC purchased 10222 MCI Drive for $6.3 million, $50.41 per square foot. The newly purchased building, Pinellas Plaza, is a 3-story, 124,983-square-foot building located in the Gateway submarket in Pinellas Park. The property features approximately 440 surface parking places, training rooms, a 100-seat atrium, security system, easy access to Interstate 275 and 10 acres of developable land. The building was formerly occupied by MCI but is now totally vacant after WorldCom's bankruptcy and is available for lease. Dale Peterson and John McRae of Trammell Crow Co. represented the seller in this transaction.
