One Amer Plaza PT LLC, acting as an affiliate for General Electric Pension Trust, purchased One America Plaza of downtown San Diego. The 581,136-square-foot office building is located at 600 West Broadway. One America Plaza is a 34-story office tower characterized by a curtain wall of granite and glass, a sculpted roof, and a marble-clad 4-story atrium entry with a 40-foot high waterfall. The total consideration for the transaction was estimated at about $166.2 million, approximately $286 per square foot. Ben Schwartz of SENTRE Partners consulted on behalf of the buyer.
