National Bank of Arizona purchased the former headquarters of Del Webb at 6001 N. 24th St. in Phoenix. The three-building, 148,221-square-foot office complex sold for $16.5 million, more than $111.30 per square foot. National Bank, the Valley's fourth largest banking institution, will use the property as its new corporate headquarters. The buildings became available as Pulte Homes bought out Del Webb and merged offices. Built in 1987, the buildings boast glass skylights throughout the interior as well as uniquely designed marble walls, floors, and interior columns. The grounds are elegantly landscaped and feature linear pools and cascading water features. Don Arones of Grubb & Ellis and Larry Downey, formerly with Grubb & Ellis and now with Cushman & Wakefield, represented the seller, Mountain View Two LLC. Brad Anderson of CB Richard Ellis represented the buyer, National Bank of Arizona.
